I have looked all over online and can't seem to find some reference as to where the fuel pump is located on a 1985? Would appreciate any help!

On my '86 the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. Remove the gas door cover and you will see the tank. You will have to remove the fuel line and an overflow hose. Remove the gas tank cover and the fuel pump mounting bracket is attatched. You also have to unplug a wire harness for the pump. Not to difficult to do. I believe the pump is around$80. Good Luck. If you have any more ? let me know

Are their upgradable fuel systems for the C4's? I have started adding some power to my '95 and I believe better fuel system will add some more power?

Honestly I am not too familiar with the LT1 motor. I am sure you can put bigger injectors in and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Racetronix makes a complete plug & play fuel pump setup for the LT1 Vettes that is very nice. All of their fuel pumps come with a seperate harness that takes power directly from the back of the alternator so that you have higher voltage at the pump for more output.

Feel free to let me know if I can answer any questions,
Ed
