To many friends have the C6. So I'm considering picking up one myself. Would like to get a '05 or '06 any suggestions, whats a fair price, recommendations on options? I most likely will try to sell my C5 as private seller because I have done a few things to it and don't think dealer will give me what I want!

I agree with you about selling it privately. Dealerships blow when it comes to trade ins. Good luck on getting a C6

You know what? I can't do it, can't sell the C5! This car has been so reliable I have decided to keep it. Regarding the C6, I'm going to wait till spring and get like an 05, should be better prices then.

In the spring is the worst time in my opinion . The prices get very inflated around this area in the spring.

Wouldn't the turn of the new year give better pricing on cars, on paper they are a year older?

The dealerships really like to get rid of stock on the lot by the end of the year.If you were looking for brand new ,a dealership gets special incentives for selling a new car in that model year.Meaning if they can sell an '07 vette by the end of the year they will get money back from GM. Thats why you will see alot of end of the year clearence sales at dealerships.
Up here in the northern states vettes get big money in the spring and early summer months.
