I just bought a used Magnuson blower for my '05. The sellered claimed the blower had under 4,000 miles on it. He moved to a procharger because he wasn't happy with the peak HP numbers that the Magnuson gave. I got the blower for $3,500, and think I got a good deal.

The seller was telling me all about this thing that it came with a 3.4 (I think) pulley and that I could decrease the size of the pulley to get more power from the blower. I was wondering if anyone has information on this. What sizes are available and how much power will each decrease in size will yield in HP and TQ. Thanks

Ohhh Yeah

What size blower is that? Also you might want to check with Magnuson first, I believe if you change that pulley you will void any warranty that you might or might not be able to get being you are the second owner.

Standard pulley sizes for Magnuson are:
3.4" ~6 PSI boost
3.2" ~7 PSI boost
3.0" ~8 PSI boost
2.9" ~8.5 PSI boost

The magnuson blower is most likely an M112 series as the HH version (high helix) is much rarer.

$3500 is a good deal if you got everything including the MagnaVolt. Magnuson has their installation instructions on their website for download in .pdf format.

Enjoy and don't forget to change your hood! :D

mine had the 3.4 on it at first, and I got a 3.1 pulley, and get about 7.5 to 8 pounds of boost.

I think I have seen a bunch of people with a 2.7" pulley as the smallest that I have seen too.

And you have to machine the heck out of the snout for it to fit.
