YEAR - 1997
Mods - (NOS, 3:42 gear on an automatic)
CODES - Puddle of fluid on ground :)
Problem - (Son has 97 C5 Vette. He went out to drive the car the oter day and noticed a pool of fluid under the rear of the car. He jacked the car up and wass able to see fluid around (what he called the sump gasket area), I have no idea what he means so I am not to sure what gasket he is talking about. I've tried to find a schematic of a c5 Diff but am not having any luck. Is anybody famaliar with what he is asking? Any information will be appreciated

Yeah his left differential seal is leaking, common problem sorry to say and not cheap to have repaired... some owners have gotten responsible dealrships to fix it for them for free as it IS a known problem to GM...
