In keeping with my self-assignment as the reporter of things vendor related I feel a need to pass on my most recent experience.

I've got NOTHING but good things to say about Halltech. They make a series of intakes for C5 and C6 Corvettes.

I had reason to contact them about an older, used intake of theirs that I bought on Ebay. Keep in mind they didn't benefit from the sale of this system to me in the least. They don't even sell this intake setup any longer.

I called with my question and spoke to 'Jim' who runs the sales department at Halltech. Jim was helpful, friendly, knew which questions to ask and got me on the right path for a faultless install on my car.

THIS is how it's supposed to be when dealing with our vendors.

That is good to know! I did a search on your other threads and they are cool too. Tstar, can't say that I have heard of that company you are talking about.:party:

Jim Hall (from Halltech) actually sent me an email telling me that it would be a lot cheaper for me if I just went to Pep Boys and bought the K&N filter clean/oil kit rather than ordering his and having it shipped across the country.

I'm sitting here shaking my head. He tried to save me money in spite of myself. :party:

I asked him to send it anyway.

What a guy.
