I gave it a little extra gas and at next red light it stalled out. I tried not pressing gas pedal but it would not stay running. I tried letting it sit for about 15 minutes. I tried holding gas pedal to floor. I tried taking off and putting back on positive battery cable. It acted like it was flooded but the last time I tried to start it, it would not even connect. Good battery! Brake light was on. I did gas it a little right after starting car before my brakes make this noise, which it has always done, (going from reverse to drive) which I know nothing about. Starter is good also! Only thing I know to try is a spare passkey. It asks like it is not getting any fuel basically, Any help is greatly appreciated as I will have to have it towed by the morning if not started. Thanks!

The vette has excellent battery and starter power but will not turn over. It acts like it is out of gas. I put a new fuel filter on it but the old was was ok as I blew thru it. Maybe a sensor went out or I lost fuel pressure some where. I am having it towed to a garage (which is scary) to have it checked on computer. Any ideas are appreciated as the car hasn't make it to garage yet. Thanks so much for your time!

My sensor went out and this is exactly what happened!! Luckily this did it in my driveway and I had one of my good friends look at it and he mentioned the sensor. I bought a new one and problem was solved. Make sure that they check that first as I would guess that there is a good chance that is the problem! Good luck!

No problem! I just hope that is it for you too and not anything bigger! Good luck and let me know what happens.

Possibly the fuel pump died. Can you here the fuel pump kick on?

I agree with "lethal" When you turn the key to on have someone put there ear by the gas cap and listen for the fuel pump to kick on. It' s good place to start! That is if your problem still exists!
