When I wash car or drive in rain I get a puddle of water on the passenger floor. Ran water test with hose and found area but not specific location. Ran water in the screen below the windshield and narrowed down some. Removed screen and metal cover next to wiper and couldn't see anything obvious. Any ideas! Help before I drown.

Have someone sit on the passenger side with a flashlight. You on the outside is to take the hose and run it very low flowing. Then from the "bottom moving up" <<< Chew catch that simple move you watching with the mirror as both of you slowly follow your water wand hand and move so slow up the guide channels and you might find that leak on the water level moving up and not you on the roof hosing down the leak is where did it come from is run the water, need I say more ..... Got it? :drool5:

It's the "windlace seal". That "L" shaped weatherstrip fastened to end of dash. I don't think they are reproduced, but you see NOS ones on Ebay ocassionally. They usually run $100 per set.

If you open the door, either side, and look at door hinge area, on car not door, you will see an "L" shaped rubber weatherstrip. That's the windlace seal.

No, its not leaking from there. When I water test the screen below the windsheild I can see the water trickling down the inside of the firewall where I have pulled the carpet and insulation exposing the bare metal.
Thanks

Then it's probably the seal around the evaporator box or the drain for the box could be plugged up. Either way, you're getting close !

Hello
Has the heater core or A/C evaporator been replaced? I dont mean there leaking, But if the heater box (inside the car) or A/C box (under the hood) where not reinstall correctly they can leak water when raining or at a car wash.

No not the heater box. NO coolant smell and those componets were not worked on.
