Is Cometic preferred over FelPro on a n/a install. Again, this is for '05 LS2 using AFR 205 Mongoose heads. Would appreciate part # for .040 thickness. After checking AFR's recommendations and then Cometic's, things didn't match up part # wise.

There is nothing wrong with either of those choices, they are both top notch brands!

Felpro is what I am using for my N/A build. I've heard that if your going to spray your engine (nitrous) than you might want to go with cometic

I would just stick with the GM line, they make some of the best stuff out there and you will save some $ in the long run.:)

anyone of these listed are good, just make sure it fits your application i.e. heads and compression

I bought the felpro so I will see how they work, they were only about $100 . Thanks to you all for your input!
