I'm contemplating removing the "lock ring" on my steering column, so I'll NEVER have any issues with the dreaded column lock up. I've removed a lot of steering wheels in the past, but never one with an airbag.
Has anyone done this, and other than the usual disconnect battery and/or remove airbag circuit fuse, any other extra precautions need to follow?

Iv'e never had that problem, so with that said I really have no idea as to how you would go about doing that. I am just here for moral support!

I am currently looking for the detailed instructions that I saw awhile back and when I find them I will post them for you! I just have to remember where they were!!
