That does look nice, is that a flat black? I like how it breaks up the whole rear end!

Its dupli-color flat black bumper paint. Cost about $20 for the paint sandpaper, and masking tape.

How does it look up close? I know not many people will be that close but I would like to know that it doesn't look cheap, if you know what I mean!:)

I turned out incredible. You would swear I gun sprayed it. First I wet sanded the area with 1200 grit paper until the clear coat turned a little white.

Then I used pinstripe masking tape to outline the area to be painted

Then masked up the rest of the car and sprayed. The hardest part was getting into the louvered area .

It turned out excellent.I have gotten many compliments on it

You know I just might do the same thing. I was considering buying an adhesive one though Ecklers but it $300.00. If it came off I'd be pissed! I like what you spent on it too. I could spend that $280.00 on other goodies! Thanks!:burnout:

That is really nice looking. I love that flat look to it and would really consider doing mine that way in the future! Now you will have a bunch of copy cats doing what you have done! LOL:cheers:

I would say about 5 light coats. I didn't want any runs so I took my time
