I know that this may be a dumb question but what is the main purpose of the pucks for lifting a Corvette? My buddy said if I want to do any work on my Vette that I needed these??

It is just to get the arms of the lift to stay away from the side skirts of the Vette and they actually act as stabilizers too, I think!lol

If you do not use them, there are only two points under the car that you can lift from according to the manual, and they are not the easiest points to reach to jack your car up. Get a set you will not regret it.

I know a lot of guys make them out of hockey pucks and eye bolts. I bought a set of them off of the other website from another user. They were brand new and never used.

I bought a set of the hockey puck ones (with eye bolts in 'em) from a guy that sells them regularly on Eslay.

They work PEACHY.

What a novel idea. We have all kinds of youth hockey teams in Mid Michigan and hockey pucks are a dime a dozen. Couple that with stainless steel eye bolts and your up and running.

They are hockey pucks . All you have to do is install a eye bolt through the middle of them . I have seen them on this post so I am going to make my own rather than paid $60.00 for for a pair . I bought 10 of them for $18.49 . All I need is 2 . So I'll sell them for what I have in them.
There is a picture of a home make one & a new lifting puck in the posts on pucks.:patriot:
