Jim 07-15-2007, 09:42 AM Replaced water pump, thermostat.(even tried it without thermostat ) radiator is not clogged and water flows from every port that i could disconnect...top hose gets hard as a rock as if it is blocked.thats when i removed thermostat and still have same problem after running about 30 minutes..overflow line is clear..im all out of ideas...any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx Jim shrub 07-20-2007, 02:16 AM Upgrade your radiator it will end your overhearing problems trust me I just had to do it myself...I used a griffen 4 core race radiator but they make some specifically for Vettes I forget the name of them though. Check some of the links from the forums main page that is where I saw them. Have Had The Same Problems With Mine...new Everything Replaced. Finally Took It To A Local Mechanic Who Noticed That The Same Wiring That Was Used For Both The Factory And The Aftermaret Fan Was Being Used And Was Over Amping The Current Wiring Capabilities. Changed It Out And No More Problems..sitting In Dallas 100 Degree For An Hour And Not Much Over 190.
