Will someone please explain "Core Charge" as it relates to purchasing new rims.The Eckler catalog has a set of rims for abt 900 but with this additional cost its 1600.:wtf: Over!! Cant tell this is my first Corvette can ya:confused:

When you send em your old rims, they refund the core charge back to you... :thumbsup: It ensures that you'll send them the old rims so they can refurbish them to resale.

Thanks Tim appreciate the help.Ive got a lot to learn about owning a Corvette but im working on it....Means a lot to have folks like you to help out when questions arise.

Yeah, like Tim said, it's kind of like a "Security Deposit". If you send your old rims back, you get your Core Charge back. If you don't send them, you don't get the money back!
