What a lovely DIY this would be!
If you feel the need to install an APS twin turbo setup, I'll gladly let you use my car as the recipiant and even let you take full credit for the "how-to thread
Anywho:
Radioflyer97's How-To Post #17: How to make a Custom switchboard inside the folding console.
If you're a nitrous junkie or have electronic gismos and don't want to totally destroy your console to mount switches, you can hide them in under the armrest. I rebuilt mine to accomidate new toys and you all will benifit from pics and a templete.

I built the board itself out of aluminum sheet metal. The mounts are 90 degree brackets screwed into the side of the console's interior and the board is screwed into the mounting brackets.

There isn't enough clearence under the console for much wiring so the connections will have to be bent in order to fit. This following picture is of the original switchboard but most of the wiring was re-used.

Finished Switchboard

Wiring can be routed in and out of an existing hole in the front of the console's interior. I prefer to use a barrier strip under the traction control panel for easy marking and wiring.
