Anyone TRULY know the best intake on the market for the LS7 ZO6?? I know K&N is reputable, and claim a 27.22 HP gain, but a local tuner shop is trying to convince me to buy the VARARAM. The K&N is an open cylindrical filter, which historically allows for more volume, whereas the Vararam has a flat filter that is part of a serpentine air duct that extends to the front duct of the hood for "RAM" induction. Any thoughts??
Thanks- hope you all are stomping those GT500's back into the cartrader mags!! Happy Hunting

PS- Any thoughts on the Diablo Sport "Predator" tuner for the LS7??

I went with the K&N and love it! now have heard of other applications but I think alot of it is going to be on what you like! 500GT's too heavy!!

Thanks for the reply! I think my mind is made up on the K&N- it just makes sense, and has the looks too. Did you actually feel the difference? Have you had any re-mapping done since your intake application to adjust for air-fuel mixture?

Hey I am in the same boat guys/gals (politically correct) I have the K&N and I love it. Your right great looks and I don't know what anyone else says, but I did notice a difference! I did have my tuner run over it real quick and make some quick adjustments. Overall rating 10!

I just had my stock one ported and it was a nice pickup. I just feel for the most part this car is already so nice that I don't need to replace any parts but maybe just refine the stock parts a little!

I did this too and I have not really felt that much difference so I am currently looking to upgrade to an aftermarket intake!
