Shifter Boot Install(Installing a genuine leather boot)
1) Slide OEM boot down(2008's have a chrome ring, which needs to be twisted counter-clockwise and then pulled down)
2) Remove screw and lift off shift knob
3) Find the 5 tabs that hold the plastic ring and using a screwdriver or your finger, pull each out toward the center of the boot.(Here's a pic of the boot on the ring)

4) Pull staples out to remove old boot.
5) Staple new boot on.
6) Reinstall boot and ring, put the knob back on, and pull boot up.
Done!
