Installing a New Painted Starter Button

There are no screws holding the gauge cluster in. The only tool you will need is a very small common screw driver.

1. Pull gently on the right side gauge cluster until it pulls away a little.

2. Pull back and work your way down to the starter button until you can see the rear of the panel, you will also see the wire harness going to the starter button.

3. Dis connect the wire harness to the starter button.

4. There are (2) tabs holding the starter button in its place. Using the small screw driver you can put it betrween the starter buttin and the tab. When you get the screw driver in push lightly from the front and keep pressuer on it.

5. Now do the same for the other side and the button will pop out from the rear.

6. Re connect the wire harness to the new button and push back in place until you hear (2) small clicks.

7.Before you tuck everything back together make sure the buttin is working properly.

8. Now push the panel back until everything snaps into place.
