My Vette is seriously in need of a new audio make over and it's time to get rid of the Bose tape deck and get into something with a CD player and upgrade my speakers.

Any suggestions? How long should this take to pull the existing unit out? Speakers? suggestions?

Or am I better off having a pro do the install?

Thanks, I apprecaite that!!

I have done some full blow complete audio systems in older C4's... I will post the pics when I get over to the shop later today...
Do you have any idea on certain equipment you want to use, or a direction you want to go? I sell custom boxes, amp racks, and anything custom for the audio system, as well as several different audio lines of speakers, amps, head units, etc.
Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions...

Sure get me all excited and then "We Currently do not have any products that match this generation of Corvettes. Please check back as we are adding new products all the time." :thud:

Dave,
What do you have thats 1.5 Din and can play Mp3's? I'm having a heck of a time finding anything. I ordered a Phase Linear (ump8015)off of ebay. I know its junk... but it plays mp3's..and actually looks cool with digital dash.
Thanks
Christian

PS like the smily face on your vette page!

LOL!! We have some wiring and dash kits for the C4's... most everything I have done for the C4 has been one-off... I am working on some items for the C4 masses, however!!

As far as radios... if you went with a DIN sized radio with a dash kit, you will get alot better selection than you are getting now looking for a 1.5 DIN radio... are you willing to go that route? If so, I sell quite a few DIN sized radios that play MP3's.

Thanks Dave!
I absolutely ABHOR the smaller units with those fit kits! They just look "wrong" no matter how nice the install. That includes those flip out screens dvd tv's. I wouldnt mind doing some cutting behind the dash and what I REALLY would prefer is a touch screen unit that even plays dvd's. More "technological".
I know...Picky picky. THAT'S a long shot for sure. I've measured some double din units before and some are close but so far no real solution :ack2:
