I'm looking at installing a 12" sub in my '01 and I was wondering can I get away with tapping into the rear speakers for the amp inputs for the sub? Or do I need to run directly from the head unit it self? If I don't need to run the wire all the way up front that would be great. Thanks for the feed back.

you can do that, provided you have a line output converter that is usable with amplified systems... a normal LOC won't work, as they aren't made to handle the power that comes from the factory BOSE amps... :)
