What's the secret with GM.
I went to install a new Skid Bar today on my 2000 Rag top and after painting it up and attaching the clips I noticed that there was no in bracket threaded nuts. Why can't they tell you when you buy these parts? Spending close to five hundred for new parts you would think they would. Well anyways is there anyone who know the way to install the nut with out the tool. The ones that need installation in the Skid Bar require a tool like a pop revet gun. I tried using a washer and spacer and tightening it up but, it just turns in the bracket. These little babies cost $4.00 & change each.
All ideas are welcome. :burnout:

Well that is easy as to why they do that , they just want to make additional revenue anyway they can. $4 each, ouch!
