How long do you normally have to hold your push button starter down until the car starts? I have timed mine and it is about 5 seconds!! Is that kinda long?

about 2 seconds is all it should take. anything longer and there might be something wrong!

Same here, about 2 secs. My friend had a big system put in his and it took alot of the juice from the battery so it would sometimes be a little slower starting because the battery was a bit low.

About 2 secs or less on average for mine.... hmmmm 5 secs? you might want to replace the FOB battery or place it in the sleave in the glove compartment and see if that makes a difference in the reaction time.

My battery mysteriously died one time and this happened! How the battery died that fast don't ask me but once it was replaced all was well on the western front!

Well I just ended up taking it to my dealer and in about 20 - 30min they had my baby rolling back out to me. No problems at all so I am happy :D
