I have a 2004 C5 with only 29k on her and no mods (engine wise) have been done to it. Do you think that I will get killed at the dealerships? What is a good value that I should look for? Thank you

First off thank you for your service to our country!! Secondly I am going to keep my Vette until the wheels fall off. Just because I had thought about trading in my 03 awhile back and when they told me how much they were going to give me for mine I just turned around and left!! No way was I going to basically give them my car, but it doesn't hurt to check you might come across a nice offer!

I am going to wait until the C7 comes out in 2010. The C6 are nice but why not wait for something that will be very new and fresh?! That is what I have decided to do and in the mean time I will continue to enjoy my C5!!:D

I would keep the C5 for now also, just my opinion.

You bring up a good point, I just have had my c5 for awhile and I see all the new ones running around and I just get a little antsy I suppose! I should wait unitl the C7 comes out and see what kind of price I can get on a good used C6!
