I have a '97 Vette and my O2 light sensor is on in my car. I want to disable it, so that it is not on anymore. I bought new wheels and do not have sensors for them. Is there a way for me to turn it off?

No you can't do it, unless you have a Tech II. You can get an appointment at a repair facility that has a Tech II and ask them to program it out.

I would recommend that you try and find out what's going on with your TPS system, it might only need re-trained. Have you pulled your codes? I believe re-training is covered in your owner's manual.

You can't disable the TPS system on a pre-01 car. When the Z06 came out, they didn't come with run flats, so the TPS system was able to be turned off. Unless you get the proper sensors, you're going to have to deal with the warning system every time you start your car.:mad:
