: Closing doors with windows open BAD-C5 07-23-2008, 03:52 PM Hey Guys quick question when i shut my door on my car with the windows up it has a nice sound but when the windows are open it rattles and doesnt sound as nice. i brought to a dealer and he said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Does anyone have this problem? Does anyone have this problem? Thanks. If the windows are all the way down and not contacting the rubber/felt strips on the top of the opening (inside and out)they could rattle. Try leaving up a tad so those strips are pushing agianst the glass and see if it rattles then, if it does your strips could be worn out or have hardened...
