While General Motors debuted the 2010 Chevy Camaro in Detroit and L.A. on Monday, they also gave it a proper debut in Australia where much of the car's development work was performed. The General just published some new pictures from the car's Melbourne debut in which the new Camaro poses for the camera with a second generation model, two third generation models, a fourth gen and a very cherry 1969 Camaro SS owned by reigning V8 Supercar champion Garth Tander.
Bulls Eye 07-29-2008, 03:46 PM :drool5: Those new Camaro's are so damn good looking, the old ones are :ack2:

Sam02 07-31-2008, 07:23 AM :iagree: When is the new Camaro hitting the streets "officially"?
smokinvette 08-01-2008, 08:14 AM The Camaro is going to be a nice addition for GM when it goes live, interesting to see how much the dealers will sell above MSRP?

I'm sorry but are you retarded the new Camaro is based on the 69 and 70 Camaros, I like all of them but not the late 70's bumpers and grills.
HeavyWeight 08-16-2008, 02:02 PM New Camaro "10", all the other ones except for the '60 are "3's"
The Detail Dude 08-16-2008, 06:26 PM It looks like Chevy is bringin' sexy back to the Camaro!
HawaiiC6 08-17-2008, 06:19 PM It looks like Chevy is bringin' sexy back to the Camaro!
:iagree: I wouldn't mind picking up one in the future. :drool5:
89Vette 10-01-2008, 10:48 PM You think the first gen Camaro's are ugly! Come on! they define the term muscle car! I think your just jealous because you can't get your hands on one. you can't love cars if you don't love the camaro!
Harbor Master 10-02-2008, 01:00 AM GM is going to offer a 422hp engine as there top option in the power dept. :thumbsup3:
DynamicTuningSolutions 10-02-2008, 03:04 AM Yep, LS3 powered. And the low rent version gets the V6 from the Cadillac CTS which is no slouch either. Direct injection V6 vs pushrod V8... I'll take 8 to go thank you very much. :D
jimmymack 11-24-2008, 08:58 AM I sell Chevrolet Cars and I believe the car will arrive around MARCH 09 we have options and colors, etc. Can you believe up to a 22" inch rim available and 422hp!!

:iagree:
If you think the late 60 early 70's Camaros are ugly then you need to back away from the crackpipe:rofl:
I've owned several Camaros over the years. A 69, 70 and 2000 Z28 convertible.
To say this thing shares anything other than the rear fender "gills" with the 69 is blastphemy:rofl:
Seriously though, tastes aside,
At 15k ABOVE list at the Stealership, you could drop in a nicely prepped LSx and pro street either generation (1st or 2nd) and have a package that will out run, likely out handle and be worth a hell of a lot more than one of these bloated beast, any day of the week.
Once again, IMO, GM missed the mark on styling and will let greed rule the roost on sales.
Even if I liked them (which I don't currently but like a wart, it might grow on me), I'd wait a year or 2 and let someone else take the stealership hit.
In the meantime, lets hope the aftermarket has something to offer quickly:thumbsup3:

Black Label Vette 02-03-2009, 05:29 PM It's a great looking car but I hope it survives with all the cutbacks at GM. If it doesn't have good sales numbers, it may be doomed!!!!!

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I think the car has some potential with the right aftermarket apparel and modifications:thumbsup3:

Jimmy, My son is in the market for a new car. His BMW was keeping him in the poor house for repairs. To the point. He has his selection process down to three cars. The Camaro, Nissan 370Z,and believe it or not another BMW. He is financially able to afford all of the above cars. I am doing my best to get him in an American made car. PM me and I will give you his email address and you can talk to him, and hopefully make a sale. Thanks Hutch
