I just got my first vette (84 C4)
The problem I'm having is that the idle is up and down up and down. Also when taking off or floored it will bogg down then come back. Any idea's what this could be?? I've had Iroc's do that and 9 out of 10 times it was the mass air floww sensor, but I didn't think I had one on this. Any responce would help.

Check fuel pressure

I didn't check that yet, but it should be between 9 and 13psi right? Also I did check the codes and it came up as a TPS and the CTS. So I think I'll try that first. Thank you for the reply.

I changed the TPS and it helped a lot, but when I am at a stop and just floor it and let off it will die. Like if I was to do a brake stand and pump the gas. Does this sound like anything anyone would know about?

I was messing around and found that the hood was the cause of all the noise in the front end. What a break!
