I had one for a year or so and had NO problem or issues/cracks with it at all.

Yes I have seen several of them crack and that causes weird engine problems since it is after the MAF so it is unmetered airmass.
Problem is most owners have no clue there is a leak and cannot understand why the engine runs oddly and only when a OBD scanner is used and I see that data can pinpoint that that closely take the airbridge off and examine it.

Worse is the useless oversized ones and they stand too tall or ill designed CAI that does not allow the airbridge to lay low enough.
Also due to designs such as those smooth couplers where the movement of engine puts that load on the airbridge and allows it to crack.

Slaming the hood then bounces off the top of the airbridge and due to the engine bay heat over time the seams crack.

There is nothing wrong or lacking using the stock airbridge and it does not limit airmass at all for 99% of engine mods used.
