Can someone tell me who makes the best aftermarket shifter for a 2000 C5? Thanks, also roughly how much too?

I have installed a Hurst Quick shifter and to me it was one of the best mods that I have done. There are a few other ones you can get but I just know about Hurst cause its what I have! Hope that helps!

I have the B&M Ripper short throw shifter on my 02 Z06. I like it lots, I think most aftermarket shifters will meet you upgrade wants, it is proabably going to be another personal choice. Maybe try someones Vette with different shifters to get a feel.

Where do you live, I would let you drive my Vette and see what you think of the B&M one. ( No joy rides though...lol and me in there too. ) I see that you live in Iowa, that is a little to far to come to Chattanooga TN for a test...:)

B&M Ripper here.... Look on EBay.

If you've never had a short throw, you may think it's too stiff and they are! Do the Anti-venom mod to eliminate the Tranny's built in detent or both the shifter and tranny will both be applying return to center force...

I also cut the side springs in my Ripper to fine tune it to my style...

Hurst here. I believe it's around $250.
