Hi all you SmokinVette's. I would like to announce that Constellation Car Audio & OEIntegration.com is part of the SmokinVette.com family of sponsors. Today we received our Silver/Black 2005 Vette back from a complete audio make over.

Constellation Car Audio & OEIntegration.com out of Garden Grove, CA specialize in custom car audio electronics and audio intergration. At their store front/shop they have an impressive show room with a wide range of car audio products, backed with an impressive installation crew made this SmokinVette's make over a breeze.

What was done? A complete overhaul of the stock navigation, speakers and amp. Replaced with the following:

1. Eclipse AVN6610
2. Eclipse IPC-106 IPod adapter
3. PAC IC-AV Video IPod adapter
4. Eclipse Sirius Satellite Unit
5. PAC C2R-GM24 (retains car chime system)
6. Connection by Audison RCA cables (3 pairs)
7. Metra 95-3304 double din radio kit
8. Front- Boston Acoustics Pro60 speakers
9. Rear- Boston Acoustics SL65 speakers
10. Alpine PDX4.150 4 Channel Amplifier
11. Alpine PDX1.1000 Mono Amplifier
12. JL Audio 10W3v2 (pair)
13. Custom Fit Subwoofer Box
14. Rockford Fosgate Power Wiring

After the installation there was an amazing difference in quality of sound, functionality, clarity and so much more. With the new Eclipse head/nav unit there is so much control I wouldn't even know where to start! All touch screen, ability to control iPod, DVD, Sirius, and more.

Here are a few photos of the finished overhaul.

Love the head unit, I'm a person that loves my truck space so the speaker although looks great wouldn't be something I personally would put in. I like the Corvette Emblem on the speaker box, nice touch!

Thanks for the PM Smokinvette. One other question have you had any issues with the amps in that space in the back and them heating up/overheating? Appreciate your help!

Maybe you if you like your trunk space check out The stealth BOX by JL AUDIO you loose no trunk space and it holds one 10 inch sub woofer. I think the price is okay about 400.00 for the box and the SUB.. I believe the sub is W-0?
