: Advice on Injectors

I have an 1987 modified with an accel cam, super ram intake, TPIS bigmouth manifold, Dart Track heads, long tube headers into flow masters force exhaust system, MSD ignition:burnout: :burnout: (6al, wires cap and rotor), adjustable fuel pressure regulator, a 160 stat, with a cutom chip from TPIS.

My question is what type of Injectors and who should I call to get them at a reasonable price. I would appreciate the help.

Thanks.

why not stock? Accel if you must.

Hello.
With the modification you have done you proboley need bigger injectors. The stock TPI Corvette motor uses a 22 lb injector. The type of injector is not near as important as the size. With your motor modification you mite need a 24lb up to a 28lb injectors . As the lb number gets higher ,Theres more fuel injected per injector pulse, (kind of like a bigger carburetor main jet). Most all the cheaper injectors being sold are rebuilt and thats OK, Just try to stay with the Bosch 3rd Design Injector if you can.

What are the specs of the cam? We need to do some figuring before we simply quote injector sizes.

I had the same setup on my motor here was my build while I was in the process of putting it together:

I had the Lingenfelter 219/219 cam. Ran nice.

If you need help tweaking the tune, or anything else fuel related, on that too, we can do that too.

BTW, did you stud that plenum? If you didn't I think I have some studs and nuts left I can send you to stud that thing. MUCH easier to get on and off if you stud it.

Since I've actually built this same combination, I can give some good insight as to sizing and nuances of your build. We can do a Bosch III design for that which will drop right in.

Now I have this:
