I like to ask everyone that owns a vette, what was you automobile prior to getting your Corvette? Mine was a BMW X5. Now I know most will have other cars/trucks but what was the ride that you took out for pleasure before your Corvette?:party:

When I got my first Z06, I also had a Viper GTS, a 71 Cuda vert 440 6 pak shaker hood, a 69 Z11 Camaro pace car vert, a GMC Syclone, a MB SLK 320, a Dodge Daytona Turbo Z and a Geo Prizm. I won't list the cars prior to that.

Are we supposed to list several vehicles or just the one driver before the vette?

I traded my 06 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab for the 02 Z06 straight up. The Z had 12k miles on it. I felt like it was a good even trade and I have not looked back.

Have had many different rides including the Soccer Van when the kids were still around.
Just before Vette drove 98 Olds Aurora. Great car with the original IRL V8 engine. Could not go any smaller engine with new car so got the Vette.

I've been lucky to some extent. I've enjoyed a few.

I really did hate to give up that Z28- it really was a beauty,and I got my first speeding ticket in it. (My kid will never for give me for not giving it to him - oops oh well!) But, I had to trade in order to afford the new love in my life.
