Just wondering if anyone hear could tell me what brand of paint I can use to paint my calipers? I want to try doing this myself and if it turns out bad I will take it to a professional.

I used VHT High Temp Spray Paint. You can either tape the calipers off and spray it on or spray the paint into a cup and brush it on. I prefer to spray it on.

I used the Dupont Red expoxy brush-on paint-turned out well. I spayed my Denali's with Ford Red Enamel. Spray is the way to go with multi-light coats. Use brake cleaner to make sure you dont get any fish eye's. GOOD LUCK

2 very nice toys! How high of a lift you have on that truck and what wheels are those on you Vette?

IMO take it to the proper people and get it done the first time unless you are very good at it. Most places will charge anywhere from 300 to 500 to do your set and you will have a great looking set of calipers!:D

6 inch lift and the Corvette wheels are WCC 946 EXT's set-up for big brakes in the future. Thanks for the kind words on the toys.

Joe I agree, but if I was going to spend that kind of money I would remove the calipers and have them powder coated, not painted. I just sprayed mine black and then dremeled the paint off the Corvette letters. Yes, it has been a year since I did them and they could use a touch up but I can touch them up in about an hour so it is worth it to me.

Well I was bored last knight so I put my Vette up on stands and I took all the wheels off and I taped off the calipers. So I might start on them tonight after work although I think I will wait until Sat. to start and try to do them all in one shot. Hopefully the turn out good!

I did exactly this and it turned out very nice!! You don't have to be an expert for this one, just my .02!
