Hey everyone! I am a greenhorn here but everything looks pretty nice so far. Have a quick question about rolling through the gears hard! If I am really getting on the Vette hard and I miss the timing on the clutch just a little and I grind the gears, will this be really bad? Keep in mind that I only do this once in awhile!

GRIND IT, IF YOU CAN'T FIND IT! Joking, I believe the gears are very strong and the every once in awhile grind should hurt your car. As you learn how to drive the manual transmission you shouldn't be doing this much any more. Good luck.

If your learning to drive take it easy first, then increase your shift speeds once you have gotten use to working clutch and manual transmission.

IMO, you have to practice the timing of the shifts. If I am correct they are only grinding when you are WOT? If this is the case then your off on your timing just alittle. Practice, practice, practice!

I found that the only time that I have ever ground a gear (is ground the right word?) is when I didn't depress the clutch all the way.
