: Introducing an Entirely New Level of OVERKILL
02RonZ06 06-15-2007, 03:49 PM A friend bought me this gift that they got for me on their trip. It is so cool, it is a C5 Z06 Corvette Poster with the title under it that says "Introducing an Entirely New Level of OVERKILL"
It has taken me a while to get a frame for it, but as soon as I did I quickly put it up yesterday in my garage. It definetly adds to the rest of the garage, Thanks again Carol and Brent, here are a few pictures of it in the garage with my 02 Z06.

02RonZ06 06-16-2007, 12:25 PM Yes that Snap-On bench top with side addition and all its contents was my working tools before I semi-retired a couple years ago, now it is hardly used...lol Probably $15k sitting there.

hollywood 06-18-2007, 09:27 AM Real nice bro! Is the Vette the only car you park in the garage

Yes it is now the only vehicle that is parked in the whole garage, we bought this house a couple months ago, and the wife used to also park her 2000 Eclipse GT in there as well, but she left a few weeks ago, were now seperated and the whole house and 2 car garage is all just me...lol I leave the 2000 Durango outside parked.

My last house only had a attached covered carport, so I was waiting and looking for a nice large two or more car garage, so you know where I am at...lol

Thats the way it should be a Vette is the only car that should be parked in a awesome man cave of a garage like that. That 2000 Eclipse would have been -100 points if it was in the garage when you took the photo...
I raced one of those Eclipse's before in my C4. I destoryed the guy he even had turbo which was spooling up real loud when he was goin like 10mph.He reved his motor I lit my tires up on the start:eek: the funny thing was the Eclipse didnt go anywhere I passed that idot after 90mhp. If only the ASR was on it wouldnt have took so long but you must have hated driving and riding along in that thing it looks so girlish and has no power at all:(

Hi Ron!
Great looking set up you have there... I agree with one of the previous statements on the Snap on tool chest you have there, very nice.
Not to discount that garage of yours! Bad A$$! Thats what I call a garage!

02RonZ06 06-19-2007, 05:15 AM Thanks Alex, yeah I'm still hunting for more cool accessories for the garage too.
And yes I did feel out of place when I would go in the (ex) wife's Eclipse, fortunatley it had very dark tinted windows lol and no one could see me...lol, it was a V6 with auto, nothing to mention though.

But that is what she wanted at the time.

Thank god for the window tint on that Eclipse...Was it her idea to put those Euro lights on the car also?I wonder did it have one of those ricer mufflers too? The V-TEC didnt kick in yo
02RonZ06 06-19-2007, 01:45 PM yes it was her idea for the tail lights and also the dark tint, and the wheel choice too. It has the stock muffler and exhaust, but it was loud stock. I tried to get her to get an American car, but she like the rest of her family thinks that the 'gas mileage, and quality" of imports is more to their liking?? Even though I told her my 02 Z06 on the highway can get around 28 MPG, I've even heard some say as much as 31+ on the highway on long trips with cruise on, that's pretty good in my opinion for a 405 HP stock Z. ;)
joe66z06 06-20-2007, 06:44 AM That is a nice poster. See if they have one for an 06Z, also your garage is very clean and I like the flooring, nice work!
02RonZ06 06-20-2007, 05:24 PM Thanks all, and joe I have not seen one for a C6 Z06 yet, but there is probably one out there, and yeah the floor was just put down a month or so ago by a friend and me, took about 8 hours...$360 in tiles and supplies, and $20 in beer...lol
Lethal Tendencies 06-28-2007, 03:34 AM Nice poster and garage. Hope you don't get taken to the cleaners in a messy divorce. Good Luck
tom snitzer 06-29-2007, 03:38 PM Hats off! Great looking set up!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D
howsmyrear 07-02-2007, 07:18 AM That is a nice gift! You have a nice garage also, did it take you a long time to complete it?
02RonZ06 07-02-2007, 10:04 AM Not long at all to fix up the garage, and the seperation is going fine, we are good friends and have most things split to our likeing. We will be going to file probably this week, with the same lawyer, all is well with that.
freedomfighter 07-05-2007, 09:35 AM Nice poster buddy and an even nicer garage! I am in the process of deciding what type of flooring that I want to go with in my garage!
