I'm sitting in my car today and looking at my owners manual... here is a question: Has anyone found a benefit/purpose to the voice command feature? On my cell phone I have found a use, however in my car you still have to reach over and hit the voice button on the stereo. By then, you could have already changed the volume, station, etc. Is there something I'm missing? :D

I used it once when I first picked up the car... since then... no.

What year is your car, and is the radio stock?

We've never even tried to use it. Totally forgot the function was even there. I think I'm going to play around with it today seeing that I'm home and really have no plans for the day. Jim was planning to clean the garage anyway.

I tried using it and didn't find it to work to well. Unless I was doing something wrong, I found this feature to be useless.

I have been disappointed with it on my vette, and silverado diesel truck. I try to speak clearly, but it will almost always misunderstand, and perform a task I didn't ask for. I think it's wasted technology!

I have never used it on my Corvette but do use it in my Acura more for the Blue tooth and cell phone than anything. Works great in the Acura but a much quieter car. The NAV unit in my vette is not as good as the one in Acura. I drive into Washington DC every day and the Acura NAV has a feature called real time traffic which is really a great feature. Shows traffic speeds and traffic wrecks or construction on your screen so you can route around them. I only drive the vette into town when I expect traffic to be light so really not an issue.

I only use it to impress people who have never been exposed to the technology.

I find it totally useless.

Have it, never used it. Doesn't seem worthwhile to me.
