Ackk... someone noticed that the promo code isn't causing the 10% discount to appear on the shopping cart!

I just checked; the promo code DID take, indeed, in the system... but it didn't apply the 10% off.

Ok... sheesh... here is the deal, then...

1) I need to update the notices, but folks are going to not want to wait, or they might risk losing a sale to someone else.

2) With that in mind, I'll say this:

* You can wait until I respond later (tomorrow, working hours) to indicate that you're good to go - you'll see the 10% off hit while making your order...

Or...

* You can make purchase now (we track the promo codes), and PM me the details of your order - copy of your email receipt - and tomorrow, I'll go through each and every one of them with Lyndell, making sure to credit you back your 10%.

THAT way, you don't have to risk losing the purchase to someone else tonight.

My apologies... I should have checked more carefully! I did note that the promo codes were applied in the system.

I hope that by giving you the option of making purchase now, you can go through with it, resting assured that I'll take care of your 10% refunds in the morning. Clearing that inventory out is the highest priority on this end, and the work of manually refunding everyone's 10% is a small price to pay on our end to get that to happen.

Ok... I will reply to this thread when this is corrected for those of you who wish to wait - but again, feel secure that if you purchase now, you'll lock your gear in, and you'll certainly be refunded the 10% tomorrow. You have my word on that...! :thumbsup:

I just got word and checked; the promo code is now issuing the 10% discount correctly during the order process.

I also checked with sales, and they're aware of the refunds that are due and working on them as we speak. :cheers:
