FYI
Just a warning if anyone is new to using Paypal.
Once you give them access to your bank account they have you by the balls.
1. about 3 years ago someone ordered a custom tune for a 1991 ZR-1 that lived in Spain.
I shipped him a new Memcal with the tune burned in the E-prom. He paid via Paypal
He gets the Memcal then contacts Paypal and claims he never ordered anything ( yet admits to ownng a ZR-1 as how many ZR-1 are there and why a vendor would ship to his home).
Paypal without any notice takes the money from my bank account when the guy has the product and tune
Took me 3 months to get Paypal to agree due to his own emails that he lied and Paypal to return the money, of course no interest included
2. 4 months ago a guy buys $1,500 of custom Hewland race trannie gears from me also using Paypal.
He gets the 70 lbs of parts I shipped him, waits exactly 30 days and then tells American Express he used via Paypal is not happy ( why they do not know or care).
Paypal again goes right to my bank account and grabs $1,450 without prior notice. Paypal claims any credit card company can contact them and demand money back.
Took 120 days to prove not only did the guy get the race parts but in 4 months never sent any of the parts back and was in fact using some of the parts.
Again Paypal had to repay me but again no interest paid.
You have no real recourse once a vendor like Paypal has access to your bank account for even something bought 3 months back the customer can wack you since Paypal it is not their money so they are free taking your's.
If Paypal can do this chargeback to just 10% of their customers per month and hold/use your money for 120 days they profit from it and then return the orginal sum.

Natch...
99vette, thanks for that. ;)
We'll definitely keep an eye out, especially for 'big' orders, and especially when some originate from well-off-yonder (overseas, generally).
In the meantime... we'll try it out... see how it goes. And keep a steadfast eye on it. :willy_nilly:
Again, thanks.
