I was reading about benefits of stall converters. Has anyone installed one and what would be a good stall setting with out making the car a non-daily driver? appreciate your help.

A stall converter will certainly get you moving quicker out of the hole! I believe its a bit of a nice job. Not sure who makes a good converter??

Smokinvette sent me an email over the weekend about a company called Edge performance who apparently just built them a converter. Going to look into this company.

I am just going off what a friend of mine says so.....he has a 3200 stall converter in his C6 and he is very good with cars and it was'nt an easy job for him, so I would probably take it to a pro. As far as drivability, he says that once you go over 3000 you are getting close to that line of drivibility but it is all preferance as is every other mod out there!

YEs Yes and another Yes to getting a Stall Converter. I have rode in too many cars in general that have utilized this mod and it is night and day difference compared to stock!! Get one!

I have a 3500 installed on my Vette and it is a beast!! You should probably go no higher than a 3000 if you want to stay in check. But either way any aftermarket stall converter will wake your vette right up! good luck!
