Was talking with a friend, who made the comment that a low profile fin may not look to bad? Has anyone installed one and if so, you have any pictures you can post? Appreciate any help!

Please indicate where you purchased and cost! Thanks again

Personally I have never been a fan of putting a fin on a Vette, there is a company called Greenwood that had these "plasticy" looking fins that I personally think looked horrible. Everyone has their on taste, thats mine! Good luck

Word to the wise(re. photo from digital corvettes): Lots of fins out there to choose from. Various opinions on "bling" value. As for the fin actually being functional and providing downforce, most fins just produce additional drag and little in the way of performance.

The goods ones that actually work start at $1,500 and go up fast(most track worthy functional wings are $2,000 to $2,500). The rear spoiler I am installing in my track car, is a ACP world challange wing, which will produce over 750 lbs of downforce.

Additionally, any functional rear wing should not be used without also installing a front spitter(air damn) to provide downforce on the front of the car. If you provide downforce on the rear without also providing equivlant force on the front, the car becomes unbalanced and in certain instances less stable.
