: New wheels?
redsnapper 05-29-2007, 06:33 AM I'm thinking about getting new wheels any suggestions? I want to keep the stock sizes 19" in rear and 18" in the front. Nothing overboard?
Just out of curiousity any ideas on what I can get for my stock C6 crome wheels?

Not sure what you can get for your stock wheels, there was a thread not to long ago on wheels that you may want to view. A good wheel will be like HRE, WCC, iForged builds a solid wheel.
Z06nAZ 05-30-2007, 11:21 AM try Craigs list to see what you can get for the stock rims-- usually around $400-$700 for stock C6 rims. I just got a set of these--http://factoryreproductions.com/c6z06msvette.htm really cheap and they look awesome!! I went with 20's in the rear and 19's in the front and the rubber was tough to find and really pricey!
One Legged Vette Man 05-31-2007, 10:08 PM Hey Walt-
I just p/u a set of WWC 946 EXT's, 19"s in front & 20"s in the rear. Eddy in sales is great to work with. As far as the C6 stockers, I'm puting mine on the bay to see what price they bring. Have fun, lot of great wheels out there.

I'll take one of each! Actually its a tough call for me I like both iForged and HRE. I think HRE has more styles to select from??

I have spoken to iForged and the person I spoke to was very rude. I would say go with HRE or call up LAPD performance, they know a hand full of wheel companies. WCC does make a wheel that looks like the HRE styles, actually I think alot of companies have copied the HRE style wheels. Centerline, OZ, are a couple of other pretty slick wheel companies also. Good luck

tom snitzer 06-08-2007, 09:57 AM Suggest you look at CCW. Great wheels. I have Iforged for street wheels and CCW for race(rr) wheels. CCW are a one piece forged product that runs about 60% of the cost of Fiske, Iforged or similar.
They have excellent customer service.

How is the weight compared to these others? I have seen some wheel companies whom have great looking wheels however weight is very heavy for wheel?

Are these like WCC? A clone of the Fiske, Iforged, HRE wheels? I'm all for saving money, actually how much do these weigh? Have you had wheels from these other companies that you could compare from a performance stand point? Thanks Tom

Craigs list??! Wow what a gold mine! Never been on this site before, great tip!
tom snitzer 06-18-2007, 05:01 PM My CCW Corsairs, are approx 25% lighter than my Iforged Aeros. The Corsairs are a very popular wheel with rr track guys, who want light rims. It's another reason why I went with 18" all around to keep the weight down.
CCW's are less expensive than Iforged, HRE and Fiske principally because they are a one piece wheel, not a 3 piece as the others.
smokinvette2 06-19-2007, 06:51 AM Take a look at Cray Wheels. I have a set and they are very nice IMO for the $! But if you plan on getting a big brake setup the Crays will not work so keep that in mind when looking at any new wheel.
