84 vette...just got motor back together and have cranked it several times . out of the blue it will not start..turns over but will not run. replaced cap wires plugs coil and rotor button...still will not run...has new fuel pump and i can see fuel goin into throttle bodies so i know its getting gas. heard somthing about security issues and was curious if maybe that was the problem....at a loss...help if you can.

Did you replace the ignition control module?I believe its in the general area as the coil in an 84. In C4s the wiring is cheesy, so take a look at that.The other thing is that ICM is so unreliable, pray that its the ICM, I hope that you didnt drop a wrench in the wrong place and smoked the hole car. Check the Ignition timing is off or the distribrotor can also be loose or not alined with the flywheel.
