When parking my 1989 vette today I usually use manual doorlook but today I accidentally hit the auto doorlock and my horns just starting blowing. I unplugged horns. I kinda sounds like I have an electrical short in doorlock switch. Amazing enough my cruise control (and mirrows)didn't work when I bought car about a month ago so I checked fuses and the 3 amp fuse was blown. I replaced and tried to adjust mirrows and the first time it blew that fuse so I tried one more fuse and twice now I saw a little puff of smoke come from mirrow switch. This also sounds like mirrow switch may have a short. I thought of taking negative cable off of battery and have some things reset and plugging horns back in but hate to have horns go off while I away from vehicle. After just buying car a month ago and starting a new job this week I don't have money saved up yet to invest in car. which I want to do in the future so any advise or help is greatly appreciated. Mike
