Radiators leaking from the bottom  , I know there is a powder you can put in the radiator that claims to stop leaks. I would prefer to just put a new one in, any suggestions on where to get one? Direct OEM replacement would be nice. :D

You should start looking for a radiator now, you never know when the magic silver dust will give it up. Ecklers has OEM replacements.

Yeah the "silver stuff" is just a bandaid for the bigger problem that you will need a new radiator soon! As mentioned Eklers is a great place to get a new one, even if they just got sued!! ( I know low blow)

Magic silver stuff will be major pain in your *** later. Years ago when I was working on the old V 12 GMC irrigation motors, the mechanic before me thought that was the only thing to use for leaks. Still today I want to kick the **** out of him every time I see him. I am glad nobody ever told him about the black pepper trick.

I was hoping everyone had forgotten about black pepper.

i own a repair shop, don't put any stop leak in it , it will plug other things up. check the raditor support . these c3's are noted for the supports rusting at bottom and letting the radiator bounce around. you can get a good radiator replacement from any good auto parts store. repace hoses at same time. the best way to get the rad. + shroud out is to remove the hood..

When I was a kid (a long time ago) I used any and all types of fix all in a can or jar I could find because I could not afford to do it the right way at that time.

The addition to anything into the cooling system may correct what ever it was intended to temporarily but it may also cause other problems that you may not realize, like adding a film to the interior surface of the block, manifold, heater core, and the radiator which may in turn prevent the proper heat transfer from the metal parts to the water. It may run hotter than normal.

I would flush out the cooling system with the appropriate product and either have the radiator repaired or replaced and then install a good grade anti-freeze 50/50, one that is approved for use with aluminum radiators and engine components.
