Hi all you SmokinVette's! Its been a little while since any sort of updates on what we have cooking here with our two '05's project Vettes. Recently we have installed Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes and their 3" X Pipe on our Silver '05 and love the new sound!

On top of that we have just installed Nitto's new Invo tires all around and have to say these tires are incredible, not to mention was an excellent fit with the Z06 tire sizes!

We went with 275/35/18 on the front and 345/30/19 in the rear. These fit w/o any modifications (didn't need to tub at all) This past weekend went for a little stroll from Orange County up to Sacramento. I have to say these tires grip the pavement like no tomorrow, not to mentioned they are so much quieter than the Goodyear F1's we had on prior.

I have to say after moving to the Z06 quarterpanels and Z06 wheels/tires all around I was a bit concerned on the only option for tires was the Goodyear F1's. Personally Goodyear is a great company, however I think their F1 makes for a "good" OEM tire, however for more aggressive dry and wet handling these Nitto's were the best choice.

Here are some pics of the new tires:

Love the tread design, if only you had these 30 days ago! I reluctantly purchased new Good Years that I don't and never liked! Whats the price on these anyways? Thanks ;)

What a sharp looking tire! I wasn't aware that Nitto had tires other than drag radials that could fit our Vettes! Thanks for the tip!

How is the price of these compared to the Goodyears? I have an '06 Z06 and not looking forward to purchasing these goodyears! It would be different if I was pleased with the goodyears, not very impressed with them?

Thanks for the info, I am planning to put the Z06 wide body on at end of summer, I like the tread on these better! BTW where did you get your Z06 rear quarter panels? Cost?

No Z06 here, I have BF Goodrich's on right now and never looked at Nittos before. A few have made comments on the tread pattern, I have to agree! I would be interested to know what price is on these compared to other tires manufactures. Also what sort of mileage can you get out of these?

I called Nitto about this and of course they said it really depends on how we drive.

Given that this is a treadwear 260...I would expect 25000 miles? since their 555's are treadwear 300 and I got a little more than 30k miles out of them on my old m3.

I spoke to Nitto dealer last week and was told that the 275/35/18's where not available?

What is the price of these tires? Just to clarify these are not runflats?
