New here with a question on lowering a 2005 C6. I was told there are 4 bolts that you tighten or loosen under the car to raise or lower. I had the car jacked up yesterday and think I might be missing something?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You will see a leaf spring on the front and rear going across the car. At the end of each on top you will see there is a bushing like with a bolt head on top, this is where you loosen or tighten to raise or lower your car. I think it is a 12 or 15 mm? May be wrong

Thats it?? Sounds little to simple! I got charged $175 to lower my car. I thought was a good value now I question the value if all your saying is 4 bolts to adjust?

I see that most shops sell 4 bolts to lower a C6, haven't done it yet. But sounds very intresting and fairly easy to do if just adj the bolts? I thought you had to replace the 4 bolts?

I was quoted $145 to lower mine? Does that seem like a fair price? They didn't mention any hardware needed?

I havent had a chance to get under my Vette to look at the adj bolts. Most of the lowering bolts that I been looking at will lower your Vette 2.5 inches and cost anywhere around 45.00 to 65.00 to buy. So, I would say a 100.00 bucks for labor doesn't sound to bad. It really just depends on what you want to do and how comfortable you feel doing the adjustment yourself.
Take it in, its done.:D
Other hand, jacks, possible wheel remov, wrenches, time, 145.00 don't sound to bad.
Good luck,
