I was wondering if anyone has disconnected thier shift skip? and if so how do you do this? Any advise anyone on how or if this should be done

There are those shift skip eliminators I think they work on C5's too and you can get them at a handful of the vendors on here!!

You can also have any tuner simply remove it for you in the pcm as well.:thumbsup:

Why spend $20 when you can buy 1 resistor for less then 50 cents and get the same results ?

Why do it in a tune ?

Well if the car has any type of warranty it is very easy and well known for a dealer to check and see if CAGS was disconnected and void warranty.

They can not freely tell it was done in a tune and the tune is just not turning CAGS off as tuner not only does total peformance gain tunes but also can turn the shift light at a set Shift Now RPM shown on the HUD screen rather then having to add a external shift light.
