I'm looking around for another c4 right now and just curious what is too many miles on a 92-96? I had 180k on my 91. I came across an authentic ruby for 8k, but it has 170k miles! Just trying to see what is an acceptable amount of miles. Whatever I end up getting will be driven, no garage whores!!!

well the average miles for a regular car (not a vette) is around 12-15k per year, I would say that the average for a vette is in the range of 5-8k per year. So by those numbers just do the math!

Condition condition condition......any repair receipts available to show what kind of care its received? You know, if its a daily driver you can expect to pump some $$ into it as the purchase price is just the start. Price sounds kinda stiff for those miles.......just one car guys take, I'd put up to 10K in a lower milage (under 100K mi)C4 that came from a good home, they are out there.

yes if you find one that is in good to great shape on the outside and they have the records showing that all the upkeep has been done properly than you should be alright!
