ok i really need some help here. so i filled up the tank on my way to the shore. and on my way home from the shore i stil had about 3/4 tank left my check gauges light came on and my gas gauge droped to empty. and my low fuel warning came on. what would make this happen and any suggestions on how to fix this problem? thanx

Its probably a bad sending unit for the tank float.
I'm not an expert but that would be my first guess!!

I have heard that bad gas can cause these to stop
working. From what I have seen on the forums, you have to
run the tank empty as much as possible and fill up
with any gas that has Techron additive in it. I think
Chevron & Texaco have this additive. You can
also buy Techron additive at most any auto parts store.
It's in most fuel injector cleaners. Good luck!!!!:thumbsup:
