I would just skip the chip and go with a pro- tune!

Since 1994 the Corvette has had a PCM that uses flash memory and not a Memcal with a E-prom so there is no chip to swap

Tuning is all done via a tuning tool and tune is uploaded into the flash.

Are you talking about a Programer such as the diablo or taking it to someone?

I bought the Hypertech Max Energy for my 2001 C5 coupe. After using the tuner my 01 takes off like a rocket at full throttle and chirps the tires when shifting into 2nd gear at 50mph. Pretty cool stuff... I have noticed that the gas mileage has dropped a little since the install. Probably around 2mpg. :burnout:

I think that alot of guys are using the Hypertech
and Diablosport Predator's rather than doing the chips.
There is alot more variable adjustments with the
service type tools. On top of that, get a pro tune
and I think your probably farther ahead of the game!!

You might want to check the HP Tuners forum (http://www.hptuners.com/forum) for a tuner in your area. I'm on there as well as EC_Tune.

OR:
You could always plan a vacation in sunny So Cal and stop by for a tune while you visit the LA area. :D
