I just have the factory deal on my car which I believe is not a security system. So looking into other options and was reminded about Lojack? Do I need to place both on car? Would this be redundant?

Well the car has VATS as you know, LoJack would be an added feature and in no way redundant! If it makes you feel more secure where you live then I say go for it!

Lojack always good idea, I have it and its piece of mind. For alarm I just Viper with the auto start function. Its pretty cool I can start the car ahead of time with my remote. Great during cold winter or hot summer days!
